Delete your account

Without reinstalling the app

Send a deletion request from the email address registered to your GAIWAN account. You do not need to reinstall the app, sign into this website or buy anything.

If the email link does not open a mail app, copy the address and subject into your usual email service. Ask us to delete your GAIWAN account and its associated library data. We may verify that you control the account before processing the request and will confirm completion. Never include your password, verification codes or card details. If you cannot use your registered email, contact the same address for help verifying ownership.

Inside the Android or iOS app

1. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Open My GAIWAN, then Settings.
3. Select Delete account, read the notice, then confirm deletion.

You can cancel before confirming. If a network error occurs, the app will not treat the deletion as successful; reconnect and try again or contact us.

What is deleted

Successful deletion removes your authentication account, associated saved titles, playback progress and access records from the active app database. The app also clears that account’s local library cache. It signs you out, and you cannot use the deleted account to access its old library.

Records that may remain separately

Provider security logs, backups and support correspondence may remain separately for service operation, security investigations or legal obligations. Deleting the account does not promise immediate erasure of those copies. Mention any request concerning these records in your email. Uninstalling the app or clearing local history by itself does not delete your cloud account.

Paid purchases are not enabled in the free release. If store subscriptions are offered later, deleting an app account will not automatically cancel a store subscription; manage it separately in Google Play or the Apple App Store, as applicable.
